WOODLAWN KIDS EXISTS TO LEAD OUR CHILDREN TO TRUST IN THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS CHRIST AND LIVE THEIR LIVES IN OBEDIENCE TO HIM FOR HIS GLORY. THIS TRANSFORMATION COMES FROM TEACHING THEM THE TRUTH OF THE GOSPEL AND INVITING THEM TO PUT THEIR FAITH AND TRUST IN THE FINISHED WORK OF JESUS CHIRST. 


When it comes to kids ministry in a local church, we know you’re not just looking for someone to babysit —you want a place where your kids feel safe, grow in faith, and look forward to coming back.


At our church, we understand what matters most to parents:

  • Safety first. From secure check-in systems to trusted, background-checked volunteers, we keep your kids safe so you can worship with peace of mind.

  • Teaching with purpose. Your child will experience Bible stories and gospel truths brought to life in a way that’s both fun and meaningful.

  • Familiar faces. Consistent volunteers get to know your child by name—building trust and making Sunday mornings feel like home.

  • Lessons that live beyond Sunday. Each week, kids take home something—maybe a craft, a memory verse, or a conversation starter—so faith isn’t just inside our walls, but part of family life.

  • Parents in the loop. We keep you connected—through clear signage, walkovers on your first visit, and updates about their day.

SUNDAY MORNINGS (10am & 11aM)

During our Sunday School hour, kids will discover how the gospel unfolds through the entire bible and how the gospel changes everything through activities, music, and gospel-centered Bible video lessons. 


After the initial portion of our 11am service, children will have the choice to follow the teachers to the kids area to participate in Kids Worship to learn how to treasure Christ in their lives through games, activities, and a bible lesson.

WEDNESDAY EVENINGS (6:30pm)

During Kids ROC (Kids Rely on Christ) from 6:30-7:30 pm, kids will have fun as they learn about God through lessons, games, activities, snack, and prayer. We have special themed nights throughout the year including Pancake & Pajama night, Movie Night, Ice Cream Sundae Party, Water Day, Board Game Night, and various holiday celebrations.
